Cecilia's Bridal Shower

It was Cecilia's Bridal Shower on friday and we celebrated it @ The Central. We had great fun and enjoyed ourselves. First stop ... nice dinner at Waraku Japanese Restaurant. It was easy to decide to go with jap. food since our bride-to-be is a big fan of japanese cuisine.







Next stop ... Paisley & Cream, a really nice & cosy cafe at the ground floor for desserts. The cafe has a very romantic, pursuit of dreams, stardust melodies kind of concept. What i love is the Audrey Hupburn pictures that were hanging on the wall. So classy but yet so vintage.







Bridal Shower is one of those parties that are fun, but yet practical. Also a nice occassion for close friends like us to spend some time with her before the big day. And not forgetting those sound advice from friends that are married. We asked her some questions which i am sure Gal will love to hear what Cecilia has to say. So here's for u my friend.

Q1) When was the first time he said Ï Love U"?

Q2) What is the most romantic/unforgettable thing he's done during your courtship?



Since it's her nite and the party is all aboout her, there's presents from some of us to pamper her. There's the pretty victorian bridal jewellery stand from Lynette, Cheryl Q and me, bird-nest from Lisan and an additional gift, a book from Alvin & Cheryl.



And a cute hair-band for the lovely bride-to-be. Cecilia must have loved it so much coz. she walked around clarke quay with it and all the way home. It'll be a great momento for her.





After desserts, we walked to the bridge to meet up with the guys who were having a stag nite at Brewekz for Gal.



The nite doesn''t end here. The guys had saboed the groom-to-be earlier and i heard that they had great fun. Refer to Jeff's blog for details. And now, here's what Galvin needs to do.

1) Approach ten groups of strangers and tell them that he is getting married. That's easy rite?





2) We just need to verify some answers with Gal from the Q & A session which we had with Cecilia earlier. That's to see how detailed they know eachother.



3) He had to propose to Cecilia in front of all of us. The original proposal was 'private'. Now he had to do it publicly.



Hope these will be a memorable time for both Galvin & Cecilia. Anyway, i think all of us had a fun time.
