Last Nite In London

Today is my last nite in London before leaving for Amsterdam tomorrow. It's been a really enjoyable trip for me. Went to visit Buckingham Palace this morning and saw the changing of guards. And after lunch at a nice pub, took a nice walk down Victoria Street which is just off Buckingham Palace Road to Westminster Abbey, the House of Parliament, the Big Ben and see the London Eye.

It's a pity that i couldn't get into Westminster Abbey due to some big events happening on Monday. But well, i am pretty contented being able to see all that.

Oh, finally tried the lobster noodle which Valarie recommened at Mandarin Kitchen. It's really yummy. And the good thing is that it is just a minute walk from where i am staying now.

Greetings From London

It's freezing cold in London right now and i'm typing this post from the club lounge aka business centre at the convention centre. It's my fourth day in London and well, i am enjoying the weather and have adjusted to the local timing.

Have not seen much of London yet. But on my own, i've visited Kensington Palace,Kensington Park, Portobello Market and Oxford Street.

Looking forward to watching the musical - Mary Poppins which is at the West End tonite.

Got to go. Boss is waiting.

Dreams Come True?

Most likely, i'll be heading to London next month to visit an exhibition. It's my first trip in UK/ Europe and i'm really excited. Right now, i need to do lots of planning and reading for my trip.

Not sure if anyone is coming along with me yet. Big boss is suppose to go to Casablanca at the same time but he's thinking of going to London instead. Another colleague is going to Shanghai for her annual holiday with the kids and is thinking of heading to London from Shanghai. Anyway, i think both of them will come. Ha ha, don't think they will want me to go alone nor miss out the opportunity to go to London.

Well, currently planning to extend my trip to Amsterdam (Holland/Netherlands) to visit Sis Pat, John, Kim & Steph. I wrote to them last nite and am glad that John replied me really quick and said that they are looking forward to me visiting them. And it will be really fabulous if i could go to Paris too.

Gee ... i think i'll even be dreaming about the trip in my dreams.
